INTEGRATIVE GROUP SESSIONS

Our integrative group sessions offer a holistic approach to mental health and emotional well-being by supporting the whole person through mind, body, and spirit. At the Center for Healing & Integration, these group sessions complement individual therapy by blending somatic therapy, mindfulness practices, sound therapy, and guided meditation in a calming group setting.

These holistic group sessions are ideal for individuals who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally overwhelmed, or for those seeking deeper healing beyond traditional talk therapy.

They are especially supportive for individuals navigating:

  • Stress, anxiety, and burnout

  • Emotional overwhelm or nervous system dysregulation

  • Trauma, grief, or chronic stress

  • Life transitions and identity changes

  • A desire for deeper mind body connection and self-awareness

Release: Somatic Group Therapy

Somatic Group Therapy is a body-based mental health approach that supports emotional regulation, trauma recovery, and embodied awareness. Through gentle guided movement, breathwork, and somatic mindfulness, participants learn to tune into physical sensations as a pathway to healing, resilience, and nervous system regulation.

Led by a trained somatic therapist, this trauma-informed group emphasizes safety, choice, and body awareness. Participants are supported in listening to internal cues, building trust in their body’s wisdom, and developing practical tools for grounding and self-regulation.

Somatic group therapy can support healing from anxiety, trauma, stress, and life transitions. Many participants report increased body awareness, emotional clarity, and an improved ability to stay present with themselves and others.

This offering is well suited for individuals seeking a gentle, embodied approach to trauma healing that complements traditional talk therapy.

Resonate: Group Sound Therapy

Sound Therapy is a restorative, evidence-informed practice that uses therapeutic sound and vibration to support relaxation, stress reduction, and nervous system regulation. These sound bath sessions incorporate crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, and gentle tones to guide the body and mind into a deeply relaxed state.

As sound waves move through the body, participants are supported in releasing mental tension, emotional holding, and physical stress. The experience is passive and meditative, allowing the nervous system to shift out of fight or flight. No prior experience is required.

Sound therapy can support improved sleep, emotional processing, stress relief, and a sense of inner balance. Participants often leave feeling calmer, more grounded, and mentally clear.

This group is ideal for individuals seeking deep rest, gentle healing, or relief from the pace of everyday life.

Restore: Group Guided Meditation

Guided Meditation is a supportive mental health practice that helps calm the mind, regulate the nervous system, and cultivate inner clarity. Through breath awareness, visualization, body-based grounding, and intentional stillness, participants are guided inward to reconnect with a sense of steadiness and emotional balance.

These meditation sessions are accessible and adaptable, making them suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike.

Guided meditation can support stress reduction, emotional regulation, improved sleep, and greater self-connection. This group is especially beneficial during periods of overwhelm, anxiety, or life transition, or for those seeking a consistent mindfulness practice to support overall mental health.

Participants are invited to come as they are and leave feeling more grounded, centered, and balanced.
